DIY Skin Care Remedies
Maintaining healthy skin care can be a little challenging. People often accidentally abuse their skin without knowing it. There are many branded cleansers, toners, moisturizers and anti-aging products that add to the abuse of the skin. If you notice that many over the counter products leave your skin dull, dry and flaky and never give you the long term results you want to achieve. Many products even cause serious cracking, as most over-the-counter products are only made to protect against burns and nothing else. Another reason is the chemicals used to make the products. If you read the ingredients on the bottles carefully, some of these ingredients are used to make cleaners, bleaches and disinfectants that cannot be healthy for the skin at all. This is where accidental abuse comes in and we abuse it further by believing that covering our skin with makeup will fix it. The goal shouldn't just be to have great looking skin, but rather healthier skin. Below are some of my own homemade DIY (do it yourself) skin care techniques and secrets to help you achieve your goal of getting healthier skin and maintaining a radiant healthy glow.Cleansing
It is very important to wash your face. Especially before bed and when you first wake up. Many face washes and cleansers contain active ingredients such as sodium lauryl sulfate and ammonium lauryl sulfate, which are extremely harmful to the skin. Sulfates are surfactants that are used as cleansers to remove sebum, but they are too strong and will dehydrate the surface. If you've ever wondered why you have dry skin that you can't seem to get rid of, there's probably a reason. One of my favorite homemade DIY cleaners is a combination of baking soda and witch hazel. Mix together and add some water to make a nice paste. Spread evenly over the skin with gentle circular movements and wash. Baking soda is a natural antibiotic that treats basic yeast infections. It can also slowly erase acne scars and speed up the healing of acne damage. It is also the greatest weapon to use against the bacteria and inflammation that causes blackheads. Witch hazel is a natural astringent. It helps reduce the likelihood of inflammation and its powerful anti-inflammatory properties are great for killing bacteria that builds up under pores before they even start. The combination of baking soda and witch hazel is not only a very simple face wash, but also very effective. You must clean your skin daily. This is the rule. Cleansing is especially necessary for those who use makeup on a daily basis. Just try it.
Exfoliating
Dead skin cells accumulate on the surface of the skin, leaving it dull and dry. Dead skin cells are a huge contributor to clogged pores. Exfoliation is important because it removes dead skin cells that clog the skin and reveals fresh new cells. This allows moisturizing products to penetrate deeper into the skin, making them more effective. You don't need to buy expensive exfoliants to get the job done. You can prepare a simple homemade peeling that will remove dead skin cells just as effectively. Oatmeal exfoliants aren't the best. Packed with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory compounds, oatmeal is known for its soothing properties including hydrating dry skin, providing relief from itching, rashes and other minor skin irritations. Honey provides natural antibacterial and healing properties to soothe and brighten the skin. Coconut oil is a natural skin conditioner. All you have to do is mix them together to make a nice mixture and gently spread evenly on your face. Leave the mask on for about 10 minutes and then wash off thoroughly.
The exfoliating and cleansing recipes above are just two of my personal favorites. There are other combinations of recipes that you can connect. Almond oil and sugar make a great emollient, as does avocado, salt, and lemon juice. All these ingredients make fantastic exfoliating formulas that remove all dead cells.
Attention, peeling must be done only 1-2 times a week. Excessive use of exfoliants can dry out the skin and cause redness and even a rash. Do not exfoliate if you have a skin rash or sunburn. Cleansers and exfoliants are not one and the same. Please do not try to replace one with the other. In short, a regular exfoliation routine will leave your skin fresh and healthy.

After cleansing, hydration is the most important part of maintaining healthy skin. You need to hydrate daily at least twice a day. Morning and evening. The best kind of moisturizer for the skin is water. Not only should you drink a lot of it, but you should also rub it on your skin daily. Warm water is preferred. Water provides the organic nourishment and hydration your skin needs. You can do this by using night and day moisturizers to keep the skin hydrated and relaxed. If, like me, you're not a fan of the over-the-counter stuff and have the type of skin that swallows oil like a big fish, you can make a homemade moisturizer with Aloe Vera plant gel, vitamin E, and sheaf butter. .
To achieve a healthy and radiant glow, good skin care must be such a complex job. You also don't have to spend a lot of money to maintain it. Some of the best remedies and skin care products can be achieved naturally at home using things that are right in your cupboards and fridge.
